Eng. Saif Bin Ghelaita is the Executive Director at the Telecommunications and Digital Government Authority of the UAE (TDRA), bringing with him over 25 years of accomplished experience in the telecom industry. In his current capacity, he oversees a wide range of technical matters, including the management of telecommunications resources, ensuring service quality, and guiding policies and regulatory instruments in the UAE’s dynamic telecom sector.

Throughout his career, Eng. Saif has held various positions that have sharpened his strategic vision and leadership. He has been entrusted with numerous local and international roles, most notably chairing and co-chairing ITU Council discussions for four consecutive years during the pandemic, demonstrating his adeptness at navigating complex challenges. He also leads the Telecom Emergency Management Team, safeguarding the country’s telecom infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations in times of crisis.

A graduate of programs in government leadership and innovation, Eng.
