Dr. Ali Hussein Abdulqader Al-Muayyad is a prominent Iraqi figure in the fields of media and communications, currently serving as the Chairman of the Iraqi Media and Communications Commission.

Born in Baghdad in 1984, Dr. Al-Muayyad holds a Ph.D. in Political Philosophy, along with advanced degrees in Political Science and International Relations. His career is marked by a distinguished record of achievements, having held numerous leadership positions across media and political domains. These include membership in the Board of Commissioners of the Media and Communications Commission and serving as the Head of the National Communication Sector.

He has also been a member of the Supreme Committee for National Dialogue, the Supreme Committee for Information Security, and the Council of Independent Commissions in Iraq. Internationally, he represented Iraq in the Council of Arab Ministers of Information and its Executive Office.

In addition to his official roles, Dr. Al-Muayyad is a seasoned member of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, an academic writer with numerous publications, and a researcher and media consultant. He has also served as editor-in-chief for several Iraqi media agencies.
