Salem Al Astad is holding a position of Senior Manager at Etisalat, where Salem leads Access Network Planning Activities, covering access network development, network modernization, new solution implementation and new service introduction.
Salem Al Astad has contributed in planning and development activities of access network infrastructure for the largest event ever staged in the Middle East, Expo 2020 Dubai and achieved a Trophy of appreciation for fulfilling the network requirement and incredible dedication and efforts towards making this event an overwhelming success.
He also introduced new advanced Technologies in Access Network to improve network connectivity and customer experience including XGSPON, 10G Active Ethernet, Outdoor solution for OLT and 100G uplink.
