Houssam al Masri , FTTX Project Manager, with more than30 years of extensive technical and managementexperience, working with multidisciplinary teams/expertsfrom various fields related to broadband communication networks and smart city infrastructure.

Most recently the FTTx project mana ger at Khatib & Alami ,Houssam took over the supervision , validation andcommissioning of FTTx project rollout in Leb anon . Define theGIS Design rules, Material specifications, Quality assurance programs and reporting procedures.

In his previous positions in the telecom industry in MENA region, Houssam played an instrumental role in managing major telecommunication projects related to Smart cities and solutions, Smart Buildings and Smart Homes , Fi ber to Homes and Broadband Access. Le d the project roll out in many countries in MENA related to private and public sectors.

In his former role as senior project manager for Alpinada telematics, he boosted market share b y wining and completing a vast number of projects in Saudi Arabia and UAE covering multi discipline activities varying from single dwelling luxury villas to high rise buildings and hot els and national broadband networks and containing a wide range of applications and systems.

Houssam earned a PhD in Computer engineering from MIT. He is serving as a Chairman of the Smart City Opt and App Committee in FiberConnect Council MENA since 2019 . He is a me mber of ESRI GIS community professionals, and I EEE IT soc iety, and Green Buildings Association.
